Since early high school I have fostered a passion for community development. I believe strongly that graphic and web design promotes community development in a concrete way that enriches communication within a group of people. As a result of this strong belief, I am entering my last year of collegiate study in graphic design and software engineering.
I plan to work diligently as I finish undergrad, as well as when I enter the workforce full time. It is important that I never stop learning. The design world is a constantly evolving industry. Trends change at great frequency, code is always being improved, and discoveries are continually being made. In an effort to stay current, I will continue to participate in various challenges that encourage me to learn new things. There are numerous resources that aid me in this endeavor, including Free Code Camp, CodePen, and free courses at the Museum of Modern Art. Furthermore, I will continue working on personal work and commissions that stretch and multiply my skills. Ultimately, I hope to grow as a designer and facilitate healthy growth and connection within a community.
